18 Orchard St, East Geelong, has sold for $1.2 million.

East Geelong’s Golden Triangle seems the best place for expats to mark their return to Australian shores.

The young family snapped up a renovated Victorian era house in the neighbourhood opposite Eastern Park in negotiations immediately after an online auction Saturday.

The buyers were one of two parties to bid on the four-bedroom residence at 18 Orchard St.

The bidding opened at $1.1 million and stalled with the price at $1.175 million.
